Room to Rent

Hi All,

 

I have a friend whose nephew drives up from Colorado Spgs. to attend Metro and needs a room on a part time basis.  Here’s the request:

                Ben, 26 year old is going to Metro State.  This semester he is going on Tues and Thurs.  He is looking for a place to stay for Tues evening and Wed evening up in Parker Denver area.  He would like to be fairly close to the MRT so that he can just take that to the school.  Could you send some emails out to friends that you know who might have an extra bedroom to give a young college student for two nights????  He is a great Christian kid, my sisters oldest son.  THANKS

Weekend reading

OK, so maybe you have nothing to do this weekend- no football, it gets dark early, etc etc.  Well, just in time to help you out, The Final Report of the National Commission on the Causes of the Financial and Economic Crisis in the United States  titled The Financial Crisis Inquiry Report has been released! It is quite a tome (~600 pages…..) but is enlightening in some of the conclusions it reaches. I found interesting the dissenting opinions from several of the commission members.

 

The triggering mechanism for the collapse (or the straw that broke the camels back)  is determined to be the housing bubble, and it is worthwhile to understand how the bubble came about. Hey, we’re supposed to be experts in the field, so we might have to answer questions about that situation and whether or not it might recur.
